We invite you to learn about the history of the brand, which was founded in 2019 in Melbourne, Australia by the Wrobel family.

2019

Everything began in 2019 in Melbourne, Australia. Whether it was boredom or the need for a creative outlet, in 2019 is when the family decided to try their hand at simple candle making. For fun, not necessarily for profit, the experiments started. The experiments soon became an obsession - to achieve perfection. Even today, each A.Sparrow candle is still crafted with the same passion and obsession.

2020 - 2022

Still nothing more than a passionate hobby, they continued to experiment within a workshop in their house. As they became more skilled and sophisticated in their creations, and after exploring the potential of their craftsmanship, the family decided to launch commercially.

All was going well until efforts were hampered by Covid-19 and the ensuing restrictions. 

2023 - 2024

With a fresh perspective and the desire to slow the pace, the decision was made to relocate to the beautiful area of Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia, and to launch the fledgling business from there. 

By 2024, the slow pace is still a dream. It took no less than two years to relocate, rebuild, and re-establish the business again.

The first collection, Flora, is an exquisite selection of floral fragrances in a minimalistic and sophisticated scented candle design, most likely to find itself at home in contemporary and luxurious settings.
